Purple is really good for bringing out green eyes just make sure not to put too much.
dark browns are good too.
Theres a kit by POP beauty that has a bunch of eyeshadows made for complementing green eyes, if you're interested look on sephora.com and search for "green eyes".
even if you don't want to spend the money (its kind of expensive) it will give you ideas for what colors to buy.

I have your coloring and some fun years of experience w/ eyeshadows! I like dark brown eyeliner "sealed" w/ a cocoa brown shadow. Then use a shimmer or creme base color all over the lid~from the sealed liner (not not over it) to your brows. Then use the cocoa brown in the crease for depth and a lighter color for a highlighter in a small area above your irises, I like a vanilla ice cream color. Lips will work in any color! This is for work, nothing drastic but very flattering to your hair and eye color.
On special occasions or just to get some extra looks for both sexes use pinks. I uses a fuchia to line with....it is a lip liner but it works if you "seal" it w/ a shadow of the same color! Use a mauve foe your base and a lighter shimmering baby pink for your highlighter! The green will really pop! Oh, and with this usually a natural gloss or one w/ a little shimmer from silver or gold~but not more pink or red.
Sometimes I use purples w/ my pinks~w/ them but not a subsititute! Then pink lips work well!
Just have a good time w/ it and try new colors on an evening or afternoon when you can apply and check the look again after an hour or so to see if the colors are working for you. At first, the color will look strange, but after it sets you will be able to tell if you can wear it w/o looking like a hooker!
Oh...when I say "seal" the eyeliner I mean to apply, smudge, and cover the liner w/ a shadow of the same color (or close) it does seal it and it will last through oily and sweaty lids!

i've got green eyes and blonde hair too, and lavendar and dark shades of purple have always brought out the green. You should try Almay's intense i-color powder shadow trio for greens. You can get it at CVS, walgreens, walmart, anyplace w/ almay products. Check out this sight towards the bottom. Shows the different color combos

skin color and the color of your clothes is an important factor, however, typically, cool shades are best (colors with blue undertones-purples, greens, blues, grey) I love Clinique's eyeshadow!

A dark, burnt copper or gold would probably look good, but avoid yellowish colors that are too light, as they may make you look washed out.
Dark brown would probably also look good.
