I want a make up that gives me a trendy, sexy look. That I can wear everyday to work/school. Does anyone know which is better of the two for African American Women, Sephora or Mac?

It depends on your complexion. When I do wear make-up, I wear Maybelline foundation and Mac, Sephora, Lorac, Nars, Cover girl and a whole bunch of cheap stuff as well.
It's not about the brand, but about what suits your skin color the best. Just go to Sephora and the Mac counter and let them play on your face.
I like a lot of the cheaper colors too that they have at Walmart and Target. I like some of them better than Sephora and Mac. They are just names. No one will know what you are wearing unless you tell them.

As a makup artist I like to use all kinds, but sephora I really dont use that often the best kinds for African American woman:

Oh my god LOL you crack me up. i'm black and my husband is white yet thats no longer why we were given jointly. i did not awaken one morning an logically imagine i visit sellout right this moment :-) For me it truly is all about attraction, personality etc etc blah blah blah. previous to our courting we had date human beings from our "race" yet obiviously they did not very last for one reason or yet another.

mac is better but i have always loved black opal and Iman.Iman lasts for long.
