I find that MAC's Studio Fix Fluid is my holy grail for foundation! You only need to use the tiniest bit, so the stuff lasts forever, which makes the price you pay worth it since you don't go through it in a month's time. It's a matte foundation, so if you have extremely dry skin, it may not work as well for you (I'm normal to slightly oily, myself!).
When you put it on, it's extremely lightweight, even though it's a medium to full coverage foundation. It is smooth to the touch and gives your skin that "flawless" look, especially if you use a brush to apply it (think fluffy like a powder brush rather than a flat, stiff foundation brush).
They have a wide range of colors, as well, so you should be able to find one in your shade.

My first choice is Clinque Continueous Coverage it comes in a tube and DOES NOT take much product when appyling it cost I want to say between $ 9.00 - $ 12.00. And 1 tube last me sometimes 2 1/2 - 3 months and thats sometimes Appyling Twice a day. Morning and Evening. And, the next best that I use is Maxfactor in the Stick. It almost the same quality of coverage as Clinque and 1 stick could last me 1 1/2 - 2 months sometimes 2 day. And it cost anywhere from $ 6.00 - $ 8.00 so theres not much price differenences in the Clinque.

I love and recommend Arbonne as they formulate all of their products, including their full line of cosmetics, with natural botanicals that are beneficial for all skin types. They are Swiss products, regulated by the FDA and do not contain any harmful ingredients such as chemicals, wax, dyes, fragrances, animal products or bi-products, alcohol, acetone, or mineral oil. They are water based and contain the proper ingredients to give you maximum benefit. They are also formulated with nanosphere technology that was created to adjust to everyone's specific needs. It acts like a little computer chip and reads your skin. It know where to apply more moisture and where to apply less.
The liquid line defiance foundation is perfect for mature skin (dry), the color wand is perfect for people with oily skin as it has a dewy texture. Arbonne also has a mineral powder with an SPF if you wish to give your skin a nice flawless look after foundation. If you're interested in a natural oil absorber, they have that as well. If you love the products, you have the option of purchasing them at 35% off which will save you a lot of money. If you would like more information on the cosmetics, contact me and I'll get you the info.

The best foundation I've ever used was Mac. It had a silky feel to it that made you feel more beautiful than you thought was possible. Mac press powder would always follow. But now because I had to down size is Loreal it works real good as well, but it will never compare to Mac.

It all depends on what kind of skin you have. I personally have combination skin and right now I'm loving Chanel's Pro Lumiere foundation. It retails around $50 but a little goes a long way and it's worth every single penny. It made my skin look all glowy and flawless and I wore this to my company's Christmas party and my makeup stayed intact for 9 hours straight.

I would say TruBlend Whipped foundation by Cover Girl. It is so lightweight you don't even feel like you are wearing foundation yet it gives great coverage, and it is used on America's Next Top Model. Inexpensive but great quality is how I like to shop!
Here is a link to check it out:

Try estee lauder double wear foundation. It is around $32 but it will last you forever & it looks great.
They will match you up for the most natural look.
If you don't like it, you can always return it.

I am absolutely addicted to Bare Minerals. The coverage is unbelivable and you really don't feel like your pores are clogged with makeup. It's about 60.00 for a starter kit, but well worth it!!
