im going to use olive oil for my hair but how do i do it? do i put it on dry hair then wash regularly or wet it then put it on then shampoo and conditioner as usual??? and how will olive oil benefit my hair? thanks!!

I am white, male. I tried everything: conditioners for dry hair, shampoos for dry hair, even wet look today. but nothing helps to moistoure my very curly dry hair. for the first hour they were nice and moist but after two hours they dries. today I used wet look and after two hours, my hair were dry and that gel was also dry and then I couldnt comb my hair.

I need something that makes my hair moist all day!!!! not just one hour.

maybe there is a reason but I dont think it is. I wash my hair everyday with shampoo. if I dont wash it everyday, then my hair are oily and they stink. really.

I was allways watching hair of other people and I saw a big difference between mine hair and theirs. my hair never looked normal like other people. they were allways dry and just weird.

I am already depressed with so many problems and now I have this problem. I love my curls. but when I dont see results I want, nice wet/moist curly hair, then I just want to shave my head and end this problem.

i got perm and i dont wear it curly uch so im always straighting it and its drying out my ends, plus im always dying my hair to. does anyone ahve any suggestions of what to do to get my air healthy or any products will i can use when using a flat iron it not dry out my hair??

I have wavy hair (I'm puertorican (latino)) and I style it effectively with the bedhead look. I get out of the shower (hot water usually) I dry my hair, but not too much, I mousse it up, but by midday the look is gone and my hair looks unkempt... when its style i can pretty much see my scalp since the hair is nicely organized but when not, all I see is a mess of hair... HELP!! I have a date tomorrow :(

I have really thick hair. i think that might have something to do with it. is it too heavy? i am not sure. it feels like there is a weight at the bottom of my pony pulling it down. idk. has anyone ever gotten this? or knows what to do? i have tried thinning my hair. didn't helpp....

I'm a boy with long, straight blond hair. Right now my hair is chin length. My girlfriend convinced me to start growing my hair a couple months ago. It gives us something in common we can talk about.

I've come to like my long hair very much. I know not many boys have long hair, but who cares? Many women have short hair today, and I think guys should be allowed to have long hair. I am not one to give in to society's pressure. I think real men do what they want.

Anyway... to my question...
My girlfriend has asked me to grow my hair past my shoulders to upper back length. She says this would look good on me, and I am willing to try a new style. She also suggested layers to give my hair more body.

Can you give me any tips or suggestions for taking care of my hair? Should I have trims done, what shampoo/conditioner should I use, etc.?

My hair is out of control! it is wavy, curly and straight all at the same time! i wake up in the morning hoping it will be either really curly or really straight because it looks crazy at the inbetween stage! Anybody know how to sort it out?!

ok u see i posted this last time to but people keep telling me go to a salon and get highlights done or buy stuff but dats not wuaht i wan. I want to do highlights at home by my self liek ofcourse wit da help of my mom but liek i dont wanna waste my money and go to a salon or buy special stuff so if any of u noe how i can do highlights at home by liek making my own hair color and using it for my hair dat would me really could. =D

ok, so i have emo hair style, and i tend to spike it up QUITE often. BUT one problem =[ the hairspray i use (finesse) tends to make the hair all hard and sticky, and extremely painful to move. Does anyone use a hairspray that allows your hair to be spiked up, but doesnt make it hard? also, how do you use it when you style your hair to make your hair spike?
