Scrunch it with some gel
I like Herbal Essence: totally twisted hair gel
Part way up- Part way down
You can always tie a ribbon around the elastic or use a barrette instead
High ponytail
for a cheerleader look add a ribbon similar to your school colors
Down with a side part
Looks like you don't spend much time on your hair, plus it's quick, easy, and looks very natural
Straighten it (If your hair is wavy or curly)
Be sure not to straighten ofter because it can fry your tips
Down with a headband
To look prepy use one to match your school colors
Down with a scarf headband
They come in so many different colors I'm sure you could find one to coordinate with any outfit
Low side ponytail
They look sophisticated with any outfit plus you don't have to dry your hair first!
Low pigtails
Use a middle part, side part, or a zigzag part
Low braided pigtails
Only braid the first few inches
Messy up-do / bun
Cute and quick
French twist
For something a little try it with pigtails
Blow Dry
Then leave it natural
Crimping
try crimped hair with any of these other styles
Curling
try curly hair with any of these other styles
Straighting
try straitened hair with any of these other styles
Twisted
Twist your hair the night before while still damp
Any for something totally different and dramatic:
bangs
side-bangs
Layered hair
Different length
I really hope that some of these styles will work for you and wish you the best of luck!

1. "The Poof!"
Its always cute when you take your bangs or where your bangs would be an pin them back with bobby pins, but make sure you add volume to it. I know for a fact that this is a really cute easy look that gets your hair out of the way and boys definitely like it. you can also braid your hair into two pigtails when you do this too. Its kinda preppy, but thats generally my style.
2. "Crimps without a Crimper"
Once you get out of the shower braid your hair into three sections one on the left and right and one on the back let it dry, add a little hairspray, and once its pretty dry take a straightner and hold it on the braids to flatten them out and create a defined wave. Generally this takes a bit longer but if you take a shower the night before and sleep with the braids in and then flatten them with the straightner that works too.
3. "Easy Curls"
I haven't actually tried this one, because my straightner is to large. But if you have a thin straightner you can take a peice of hair and instead of just straightning it and you can twist your hair around it almost like your curling it. It will be a softer curl that tends to be neater and it is MUCH faster than going straight to the curling iron.
Just a tip that i find useful is to just play around with where your part is. Wearing it in the middle one day and then on the side the next can make your hair style look dramatically different.
And for a twist when you put your hair up maybe braid a peice or two for a more boho chic look

like my avatar. (clip front section, then ponytail)
messy bun (works best on slightly curly hair, preferably a little damp or whatever.)
half up, half down.
high or side ponytail
put your hair in a ponytail, then take a small section from it, braid it, and wrap it around the base of your ponytail so that it hides the elastic, and bobbypin in place. it's really ez, but looks super chic.
two braids (pigtails), but only for about the first 2-3 inches, then tie.
one braid down the back. (may seem old-fashoned, but it's cute.)

you could shave it all off, at least then you wont have to worry about the question in hand, therefore you will be a lot less stressed, your school work will come on in leaps and bounds, you'll pass your exams with flying colours, your A levels in the bag, before you know it you'll be a top class business lawyer in new york earning millions of pounds a year, and all for shaving your hair off? worth a shot? or shall i just keep out of it? :-)
