I guess it costs extra to 'destroy' the jeans lol

That isn't that expensive, especially for a pair of jeans from AF.
Granted, I wouldn't buy a pair of jeans from them unless they were on clearance. Once, I got a nice pair of jeans for 20 dollars there, yay.
One question though, why is this question in the hair category?

Because the target market is young, naive (READ: stupid as to the ways of the world) people who believe you have to have a designer name on your @$$ and wear whatever is considered to be the latest fad in order to be cool. They're counting on these people not appreciating the fact that they're overpaying for something they could get a lot cheaper elsewhere for poseur factor. And people wonder why I insist on shopping on-base for clothing...
