how do i do highlights?

ok u see i posted this last time to but people keep telling me go to a salon and get highlights done or buy stuff but dats not wuaht i wan. I want to do highlights at home by my self liek ofcourse wit da help of my mom but liek i dont wanna waste my money and go to a salon or buy special stuff so if any of u noe how i can do highlights at home by liek making my own hair color and using it for my hair dat would me really could. =D

get bleach(HAIR BLEACH)lol you'll need it to mix ur own color.
then take the bleach and if you want lighter blonde then you can just use that but if you want lighter borwn highlights or red then buy the color u want(buy it a little darker it will lighten with bleach) and mix it together until the creamy bleach and color looks soomewhat like the color u want then apply to hair with tin foil and let set until its the lighter color u want

Go buy yourself a lemon and put it on the hair you want highlighted and then go out into the sun for about 2to3 hours, then wash your hair,blowdry it, and see the results, the more you use the lemon the lighter your hair becomes, you can leave it in all day if you want but lemons make your hair lighter.

sorry but i dont think you can make your own hair dye. all i know is theres a highlighting kit you can buy so you can highlight it yourself. sorry xxxx
