I've read other answers to questions like this, but I don't get enough information.
I have thick black hair and I was looking for a home remedy to remove product buildup. I read that apple cider vinegar, lemon juice, baking soda, and beer work. How often do I wash my hair with it? How much do I use?
I just bought some Aussie products and to make sure they moisturize my hair, I need to get rid of buildup. I don't think I need a clarifying shampoo that much because I don't use anything on my hair except shampoo and conditioner.
Also, for clarifying shampoos, how often should you use it? Can anybody help me?

I have straight hair and whenever I curl my hair, it lasted only a few hours. I try hair spray but I don't like the result of it. Is there anything that wil help?

How do I get straight-but-curly spiral curls?

I sort of want it this way:

I try so hard! The first time I tried to get these curls, I first washed my hair, and then air dried it. Whenever I do that though, it gets all puffy. Then, I tried putting gel on it, then twisting it into little buns, but then that just made it look a mess.
Then i tried going under the dryer, and then it got puffy again.

I guess my main problem is that it keeps getting puffy, when all I want it to be is kind of like the straight spiral curl look.

Does anyone know what I should do or put in my hair? I dont want to put a weave in.... My hair is straight when I straighten it, puffy when I don't, medium when I blow dry it.

Ive coloured my hair for so many years i dont know what my own colour is any more. Ive dyed it a plum colour but its black in places where its damaged. I dont like the colour and no hairdresser will touch my hair as its so damaged it will fall out as ive been told. I have to use a deep hair mask conditioner to help my poor hair but can i get the plum colour out without damaging it any more.

I'm a guy and i want this badass style.. but it's combed in a wierd way and i can't tell exactly what needs to be cut..

How do i get that skater style hair where is so smooth and soft and straight and stuff? My friend tried to get it but he didn't know how to do so he used a straightener, didn't exactly work out too well, so ya, I need advice on that. Are there shampoos or something that can help with that?

Hello, I'm 18 and I have a question. You see, I have dark peach fuzz (vellus hair) on my chest and stomach. I wanna know if this is normal. I'm also mediterranean (Itlian). I checked on wikipedia about this and it said vellus hair is 2 cm or under, the hair on me and I'm talking about is under .5 cm. Also, when I get close to my body mirror I still can barely see it, and when I take just two or more steps back I still can't see it. I really see it if I lift up my shirt enough to see my stomach and I look down, wether I'm laying down or standing up. And again, it isn't very long at all (under half a cm long). So could anyone tell me if this is normal? Does it decrease as I get older? Thanks you!

I got blonde highlights in my brown hair recently. They are too blonde. If I use one of those conditioners meant for brown hair or brown coloured hair, as my hair is naturally brown, will it tone down the blonde colour of the highlights or not do anything at all?
