well it's gonna be very hard to make your hair lighter cause it's black and it takes a lot to get that out of your hair unless you bleach it...you can try using a lemon but i doubt it will do anything to your hair since it's black...you can also try the product "sun in"...what i would do is dye it by myself with one of those $10 hair dye kits you can buy at drug stores...i'd get like a light brown or blonde..it might make it a BIT lighter. but anyways i hope i helped good luck! =)

Phew- throw in a comma or a peroid next time, okay? Don't use regular cleaning bleach on your hair. It can cause chemical burns to the scalp, and is absolutely horrible for your hair. If you want to bleach it, use peroxide. Lemon juice or Sun In will lighten your hair as well, if you sit in the sun.
Heres the problem. Naturally black hair usually turns a strange shade of orange when its bleached. Cut off a small section of hair, and put it in a dish of peroxide overnight. Thats the color your hair will be if you bleach in highlights or do the whole thing. It isn't always pretty. If you want to do it gradually so you can stop whenever you want to, pour some peroxide into your shampoo bottle. Every time you wash your hair, it will get just a little bit lighter. That way, you can stop whenever you're happy with the results. Just be careful, and don't forget to check what color it will be before you start! You could also try a kit to put red or brown highlights into your hair. You can get them at any pharmacy, and have a friend do it for you. Just don't go blonde! you'd look striped! (red highlights look KILLER in black hair.)

Sun In is the best product but beware cause if your hair is like really dark it will look brassy. Use only a small amount on small areas like streaks. Do a little at a time and follow the directions on the bottle. You can buy it at any store with haircare or even the supermarket. It costs $5 and lasts a long time. I put some in like a year ago and it gets lighter every day and I only reapplyed it zilch (ZERO!!!) times.
A LITTLE GOES A LONG WAY!!!

If you use lemon it's going to add red to your hair. Sun In will also add red to your hair. Unless you use a haircolor specially formulated for dark hair (they sell it at wal mart if you can't go to a salon) or, unless you use hair bleach you're going to have warmer tones (Red) added to your hair. There is no way to get your hair more than two shades lighter without using bleach or a special dye.

This might work for you. You might want to try it...
There is a product called: Sun In!
You spray it in your hair and then after you spray it you either go in the sun or blow dry your hair.
I dont think it matters if your hair is wet or dry. You might want to read the directions on the spray bottle it comes in.
You can purchase it at the grocery store or anyplace.
Good Luck <3

First, you need to learn how to type English properly. Secondly, you sound like you're under the age of eighteen, so you have to listen to your parents (unless you're an emancipated minor, though you don't sound like you'd be mature enough to be one.) Don't do something that will make your mother upset; she won't trust you. When you're older and more mature, ask her about getting your hair highlighted or dyed professionally. Until then, deal with it.
