How do people get that gelled wet hair look?

you know how people look like their hair is wet and wavy... how do they get it like that?? What gel or other hair products do you use?

Personally , I think the US is missing quite a few Hairgel products on the market...

Revlon has a hair gel product which is called Glue not like that yellow tube with the white stuff, its see through gell that holds like excelently!!! :)

anyway, that stuff was the bomb!! if my mom comes to visit, I will get her to bring me a bunch of tubes.. then I will send you one :)

you want the wet look, your hair has to be semi wetish.. damp, and then put a blob of gell in your hands and rub it in.. and style, and IF you have enough gell and the right TYPE (that I cannot find here) you will have success! :)

None of the actual gel I have found here seems to be strong enough to hold my hair up, and dry in that position and have it wet look..

sucks big time.. the yellow tube of expensive white glue stuff I have now, is ok, it does look wet, but my hair is very thick and heavy, so falls over before it is dry... so I have to wear it not so wet look, then its dry but stif :)

which is why I miss Revlon's GLUE! ah man, I cant tell you how I miss that stuff.. it has the most perfect texture! I hope someone from revlon reads this and finds out why this stuff is not available in America!!!!

I spike my hair and get that look. I use Ice Waterproof styling Glue. Perhaps not a good idea depending on your hair type. My hair gets no longer than 3 inches. If it's any longer I'd not suggest this product at all. It makes your hair very hard, however I've had great success with it. I put this in when my hair is wet (towel dried from the shower)

What I do, is when I get out of the shower I just towel dry my hair. Then I put in some Biolage gel (it's sold at almost every salon), and then some mousse. While I blow dry my hair (make sure to use the diffuser attachement!) I make a scrunching motion grabbing handfuls of hair, and then when it's dry, spray the whole thing with hairspray. Works for me!

when you wash your hair and get out of the shower when its wet not drippy wet then you put gel/mousse on it. Theres this Herbal Essance Spray that works really well. Scrunch your hair and you can finish it with hair spray if it dosen't stay. Sometimes some people that i know have to do this often and they'll take the products they use with them to do it over again cuz it won't last for some people.

you have to wash your hair and when its wet, you put moose in your hair and do a "scrunching" motion. you basically grab a fist-full of hair hold it tight and bring it to the top of your head. at first, it might look a little frizzy but after a few minutes itll look perfect. Good Luck!!

my best advice is, after you get outta the shower, immediately pput some gel in your hair (make sure its still wet) and make sure you use a lot of gel so your hair doesnt dry up.

when your hair is wet use some garnier wet curl gel, work it through your hair and scrunch lightly so it dosent get frizzy. good luck!

o yea dat look is hot ALOT of guys do it in my skool and they look soo hot in it hahah anyways yea just take da gel and put it on ur hair and with ur fingers hold ur hair and slowly pull it up to da top of ur hair :) gud luck nigguh!!!
