I like having volume on top of my bob, but usually use hairspray to acheive this. what is the proper way to tease and can it damage your hair? thanks.

section your hair and take a comb and backcomb the strand 5 times, then section another piece under it and tease 5 times, then take a section ontop of the bump and smooth it over to hide the "nest" and voila! big poofy hair! spray!

OK use a teasing comb and hold thin strands on hair up count down one down 2 down 3 down 4 down and turn the comb around to the other side and bring it down and it will lock the curl stylist here 24 yrs also spray lightly shape to desire and respray good luck

use a root lifting spray, paul mitchell daily boost is fab! also after washing your hair give it a blast with the dryer with your head upside down, then maybe once styled some velcro rollers for ten minutes.
also, when styling your hair, style it all back and then put your parting in afterwards, this gives it some extra body!
