My curling iron has dried hairspray on it, which is making my hair break from it. How do i safely remove the hairspray without ruining the iron surface?

use some alcohol or surgical spirit and a cotton ball while they are cold

the rubbing alchohol or if you don't have that just get a rag or paper towel wet with water and wipe the dried up stuff off while the iron is Off Of course =)

Hi wet a wash cloth with shampoo, and rub curling iron, this should loosen it enough for you to scrap it off with your fingernails

Rubbing alcohol usually works.

rubbing alcohol on a cotton ball. Vinegar works too.

I don't know but on a flat iron, holding the panels squished together burns it off.

rubbing alcohol works really well.Put it on a rag and rub away,worked for me!!!
