olive oil will make your hair healthier and more manageable...it will add shine and nourishment to ur hair..massage ur hair and scalp with olive oil and wash off with shampoo after an hour or more....if ur hair is dry, keep it overnight...but dont leave oil stains on ur pillow....cover ur hair with a shower cap....use a mild herbal shampoo or salon stuff when u shampoo..use conditioner if required...u dont need to apply olive oil on wet hair...u can warm the oil a little and follow it up with a hot towel if u have the time.....try this or plain olive oil hair massage once or twice a week...olive oil is good for skin too...u can use it as massage oil or add sugar granules to it for an exfoliating bath....if u dont have the time, add some drops of olive oil in ur bath water ..u will glow my friend..simply glow.....
almond oil is good too...fights dandruff..if that is ur problem..

Olive oil will help condition your hair. You can apply it either before or after shampooing. Leave it & shampoo it out. I find it messy and prefer to use a conditioning mask. Joico K-Pak conditioner is a good one. It can be used every day or ask a mask for deep conditioning.

The other thing you can do is smooth a tiny drop of jojoba oil on your hair after styling. It will add some sheen and condition your hair at the same time w/o any smell or build up.

Olive oil is a well moisturizer for the hair, however olive oil at very top temperature will get broken as a result leading to little to no improvement except u identical to the style of deep fried... Just kidin. So my proposal is heating it at the range for a couple of seconds. I placed a few additional virgin natural olive oil in a spoon and position it over the flame for a couple of seconds sufficient to get it reasonably hot. IMHO, warming in a microwave will harm the oil. Coconut oil alternatively handles warmth very good.

Years ago, as I remember it, olive oil was one of the favorites for hair sheen and control.

The procedure was:

Wash and dry the hair.

Depending on the amount of hair, mix five or ten drops of extra virgin olive oil into a half glass of water and stir until you form an emulsion.

Dip your fingers into the emulsion and run your fingers through your hair until all of the follicles are moistened.

Wait a few minutes then comb and dry the comb until the comb comes through slightly dry.

Comb and set your hair.

If the smell of the olive oil is too strong, before combing to set your hair, add a drop or two of some pleasant cologne to the comb and comb through your hair a few times.

Good luck.

Olive oil is great for your hair. It makes your hair shiny, silky, and dandruff free. Apply a good amount to your hair, cover with a shower cap, leave on for 30 minutes and then use shampoo to get it out. Hope this helped.

Olive oil first, let it sit for a while, then shampoo (probally twice) and condition as usual. Be careful- it can make your hair stink of olives! I've heard mayo is great for your hair too.
