I am white, male. I tried everything: conditioners for dry hair, shampoos for dry hair, even wet look today. but nothing helps to moistoure my very curly dry hair. for the first hour they were nice and moist but after two hours they dries. today I used wet look and after two hours, my hair were dry and that gel was also dry and then I couldnt comb my hair.
I need something that makes my hair moist all day!!!! not just one hour.
maybe there is a reason but I dont think it is. I wash my hair everyday with shampoo. if I dont wash it everyday, then my hair are oily and they stink. really.
I was allways watching hair of other people and I saw a big difference between mine hair and theirs. my hair never looked normal like other people. they were allways dry and just weird.
I am already depressed with so many problems and now I have this problem. I love my curls. but when I dont see results I want, nice wet/moist curly hair, then I just want to shave my head and end this problem.

I already spent too much money on my hair care. you wont believe. I had more than ten products in my room for dry hair and nothing helped. nothing. and then I just threw everything awayin a trash. seriously. I wasted all that money.
so I need something good. elite. the most of the The most top hair moistourizers.
by the way I live in Europe.

- You can't keep your hair literally wet all day, but you can make it softer and springier.
-Read the book and visit the site below about curly hair. The main idea is to not use shampoo. This may sound unhygenic but it has actually made my hair less oily and dandruffy. Shampoos contain some of the same chemicals found in laundry detergent. They dry out curly hair.
- Massaging of the scalp with conditioner to remove dirt is all that is needed. Then rinse and condition the rest of your hair. Gently comb tangles out with your fingers or a wide toothed comb and rinse. It is also important to use gel on wet hair and scrunch the hair.
-This takes 2 to 4 weeks begin working. This is hard to do if you don't read the book, or at least the website. Good luck!

Did you try using natural shampoo with balanced pH or pH of 7 and below on your hair? A good moisturizing shampoo with this pH for any hair type can be found at the miracle merchant. Try washing your hair just twice per week or once per week since washing every day depletes your scalp of needed moisture -- experiment.
And use only coconut oil, jojoba oil, almond oil, or any essential natural oil for moisturizing hair when dry. This will enhance moisture retention.
Hope this helps.

Try Angelica Shampoo & Conditioner from a store called L'Occitane. It's expensive, but fabulous.

or
Biosilk from Farouk, you can get it at target, etc...but it too is on the expensive side. For me, both are VERY worth it.
http://www.biosilk.com
Just remember that what works for some people may not work for others. Each person has a different chemical make-up, I find that Pantine ans Suave work very well on my hair...but when I wand it so be VERY soft and silky...I use the Angelica shampoo & conditioner plus the biosilk. Give them a try, I hope they work for you....

well first of all i know what you mean, my hair gets dry during the winter and it sucks! and second of all don`t shave your head!! you can try going to sally beauty supply and buy loreal natures therapy mega moisture shampoo and conditioner (the conditioner is in a tube not a regular conditioner thing) and when you get out of the shower use a leave in conditioner like aussie hair insurance leave in conditioner and then if your hair still isnt behaving try all the above steps plus use special effects silk drops (its a leave in serum that controls frizz, dryness and adds shine you can buy it at shop-rite and i think wal-mart has them) good luck!
oh yeah and if you dont want to go to sally beauty supply try using suave professionals healthy curls shampoo and conditioner, it moisturizes while enhancing your curls.

Hi there dude! I really really recommend that you use argan oil. I have one called Pro Natural’s moroccan argan oil that I got online and I've been loving it so far because argan oil is supposed to be really good hair food that eliminates hair dryness. It also smoothes down the frizzes and makes hair nice and shiny, plus it's not greasy at all and smells really great! Try it, I promise..you won't regret! ;) ;) ;)

Sunsilk has some wonderful products out right now. I use some of their leave in conditioner on my son's hair. You want to use something that is light and will not weigh your hair down.

definetly don't shave your head or straighten it! curly hair on guys is pretty much the hottest hair you could have. seriously. girls love guys with curly hair. take regular conditioner. not leave in. aka = two dollars at shaws. put gobs of it in your hair and leave it there. works wonders

Try leaving your conditioner in your hair; in other words, don't rinse it out. Get a conditioner for color treated hair, by the way.

Buy a tube of VO5 Hairdressing and you will be soooooo happy! Apply to towel dry hair and use your fingers to "comb" it out. About $3.00 will take care of that.......... :)
