-Read the book and visit the site below about curly hair. I did and my once horrible curly hair is now virtually frizz-free ringlets. Now I get compliments on my hair all the time! Straighten your hair- be happy for a day, learn to manage your curly hair- be happy for life!
-The main philosophy of the curly-girl method is to not use shampoo. This may sound unhygenic but it has actually made my hair less oily and dandruffy. Shampoos contain some of the same chemicals found in laundry detergent. They dry out curly hair.
- Massaging of the scalp with conditioner to remove dirt is all that is needed. Then spread conditioner on the outside layer of hair and the hair at the nape of your neck. Gently comb tangles out with your fingers or a wide toothed comb and rinse. It is also important to use gel on wet hair and scrunch the hair. Then let your hair air dry or use a blowdryer with a diffuser.
- I really like the garnier fructis products. Aussie products works great too, but there are more conditioners, gels, etc. on the website.
-This takes 2 to 4 weeks begin working. This is hard to do if you don't read the book, or at least the website. Good luck!

I do not suppose it is the way you put on your hair that makes it develop (however dressed in it down does allow it breathe so it might by and large aid) it is whether or not you fear approximately it or now not considering hair and liking it a specified approach is typical however while you begin to strain over it's while it turns into obsessive. Eat matters like eggs Romaine lettuce (it is the high-quality it has plenty of nutrition A) spinach pork oranges avocados bananas and many others bc the ones matters all have hair advantages. Also attempt to recreation on account that it is helping plenty it raises scalp move and there fore makes it develop quicker and fitter. Put it up in a pony tail and opt for a stroll or a jog even a three mile or stroll as soon as an afternoon everyday might make a change it is well in your middle too :] Drink plenty and plenty of water If you've straighten your hair then best do it while you recognise you are gonna pass out if now not who cares you can be at dwelling in any case. But no less than have 2 or 3 days in which you depart it curly to deliver it a holiday. Use Aussie three minute miracle for 3 hours and it does paintings miracles it makes hair softer conditioned and smoother and it smells well wish this is helping God bless :]

A very good thing to do is to first buy a shampoo and conditioner that will straighten your hair. Most salons have those kinds of shampoo. Then, after you wash your hair, be careful not to blow dry it; this will add extra air to your hair, thus making it curlier. Then, Brush your hair out with a fine- toothed comb. This should help to keep it straighter.

Then, if you straighten your hair, put it on a high heat setting. Try not to get it wet throughout the day. You can also put a tiny, tiny bit of hairspray or hairgel on your hair to hold the straightness.

Good luck :)

I had a perm a few years ago, and I started to notice that the curls were really hard to maintain, but I learned some awesome tricks:

1. Dove intense moisure shampoo and conditioner. This stuff made my curls so light and bouncy ... and shiney! It was amazing.

2. John Freida's styling gel in the tube pump. Scrunch it into your wet hair, and when it's dry, you'll see why this product is awesome. The gell holds your curls, but also doesn't give them that wet, greased-down look. I swore by this product and never felt the need to try anything else.

Hope this helps! Good luck.

i have curly hair too, and it's quite hard to manage.

try "frizzease wind down"... it has silicone (sp?) in it which makes it really easy to straighten. Also, get a flat-iron that won't fry your hair as bad... the more damaged it gets, the more out of control it gets.

another idea is to come up with some new hair-dos. Try putting it into french braids or putting in a headband. You might like how it looks.

You may want to try an oil glosser or an oil sheen spray, it will hold down frizz without weighing down the rest of your hair, it will also add shine.

You could also try a shampoo and conditioner that are specially formulated for curly hair to separate the curls and add definition.
