Hair - March 2007

My hair is pretty long and i want to have it about medium-length. I want it to be simple so I can wear it in a ponytail for soccer but not too simple.I have face-length bangs that I am trying to grow out, but need a hairstyle meanwhile. Maybe layers or something...If you could show me a picture that would be cool. Thanks.

I need some advice and suggestions because my little girl has very dry curly hair and we always have a temper tantrum about getting her hair done. What type of products should i use on her hair? How often should i wash her hair?

I decided to trim the dead ends off my daughters hair. Now that was really hard cause she is only 3 and biracial and i wasn't used to cutting hair so curly. Mind you its forgiving i don't think the haircut is all that even nor is it blended. I don't want to cut off anymore off her head but i think i should take her for a small trim to fix it up. What should i do? If my hubby knows i cut it he will flip out he doesn't want me to cut her hair. I am trying to grow out her hair but I am having alot of trouble managing her hair. I need some advice on how what to do and how often to wash her hair and what to use. She is half black and her hair is really curly and dry in the front of the head for some reason. Thanks so much.

ok well i have medium/long dark brown hair. im growing it out to work it into a natural long blowing in the wind kind of hairsyle. and i want it to be flippy if you kno wht i mean lawl ?? but yeh its VERY versatile so i can do just about anything with it. so if u have any suggestions im open for them. thanks for your help :D !! and if u need clarification then just ask me ok

What 'cut' is this called?
I am growing my hair out, and its pretty long-somewhat thick, and blonde. I want a really extravagant hairstyle except I don't know exactly how to 'explain' what type of cut I want. Like this:

i've never been very concerned with my hair, and i was in the military, so shaving my head is not a big deal.

in the past few years i've noticed the hair line getting farther and farther back, and i've been shaving my head for a long time. but, my sister's friend told me i should let some grow in and keep it very very short. so, what look is best? shaving, my head or having a little fuzz?

I used a relaxer just recently. My hair is falling out slowly and it feels so nasty. I can't even straighten it, it's frizzier and not even soft whatsoever now. Is there anything I can do to fix this problem? I don't know what else to do. I probably did the relaxer wrong, since I did it by myself. HELPHELPHELP!!!!!!!!

ok so if a dark brown haired person wants to dye hair light brown, and a blonde hair person also wants to dye her hair light brown, can they use the same hair dye? how does that work? how does it kno to lighten or darken? i dont get it

A few days ago, I recently got brown and blonde highlights and they look great! But, I didn't use conditioner at all, so my hair started to look dry and the colours seemed to have faded..so I'm wondering, how can I get the colours strong again @ a cheap price and not spending much time? Can I simply just start conditioning?

my hair is really thick and poofy. i have tryed moisturizing and frizz controll shampoos and conditioners but they dont help. any ideas? it taks too long to straighten my hair and it ends up poofy anyways when i try to straighten it with my blow dryer. help!

i was born with naturally thick hair and it remained that way for a while, but now my hair is getting thinner and thinner because it falls out really easily and if I just run my hands through my hair, hair comes out. My natural hair color is dark blond, and I really just want a few highlights. I had a disaster about 1.5 years ago when the salon miscolored my hair, and it has never been the same, even though my hair has completely grown out. Now, I can never get a stylist to give me the cool toned blond highlights that I always used to get. The orange streaks really bother me, and the highlights I just got are so white that it all looks like a light orange and I hate it! I feel like I can't go back because I was very clear about what I wanted and she didn't know how to do it then, she won't know how to fix it. I've tried 2 kinds of purple shampoo for blondes and it doesn't work. I don't know what to do - the gold/orange looks really awful with my pale/pinkish skin!! What can I do to tone down the orange?

I was told not to straighten my hair anymore. I have it colored and it's chin length. I can't leave it natural it looks like crap. How do I go about rolling it so I can have pretty curls? Not granny curls.
