Minoxidil. I take it for high blood pressure and I'm hairy in places that should not even have hair ;-). It used to be in Rogain that was a topcal scalp treatment but I dont know if it is available anymore. I just had 14 1/2 inches cut off after only growing it for just a little over 1 1/2 years. I just grew it to see how long it would get but got tired of it. A 50 year old man should not have long hair. I donated it to Locks For Love.

They have many products out today that are suppose to help hair growth.
Most of them do not work though.
I have always had long hair & all i do is brush my hair alot & try to eat foods that help with softness & shine.
Such as a small amt of grease in your foods, hot oil treatments do help too.
I also wait 2 to 3 days in between washes, That helps your hair pruduce the needed oils that it needs and doesnt leave your roots dried out which causes hair to grow slower.

Keep your ends trimmed, if they stay split your hair will not grow well, or will grow uneven and in layers. So use nutritive shampooc/conditioners for your hair and keep your edges trimmed. My cousin used to have short hair and she trimmed her ends regularly, like every 4-6 weeks and her hair grew almost as long as mine

I've heard a lot of different things, but I've been told by professionals that nothing actually makes it grow faster. It seems like it grows faster when you trim it often, but it doesn't actually.

Biotin will speed up hair growth. It's a supplement that helps break down proteins more efficiently. But be aware...it makes ALL your hair grow quicker and thicker, so you may be shaving more often.
