A few days ago, I recently got brown and blonde highlights and they look great! But, I didn't use conditioner at all, so my hair started to look dry and the colours seemed to have faded..so I'm wondering, how can I get the colours strong again @ a cheap price and not spending much time? Can I simply just start conditioning?

In my opinion I have been getting highlights for the last 4 years off and on, and my hair has gotten dry just like yours has too. Once you get highlights, it damages your hair, the good thing is I found a shampoo its "kerastase" its about $70 for both the conditioner and shampoo as well, its something "kerastase bain satin 3" you should check it out I think it might help you.

It may also be because your shampoo is not a professional shampoo for colored hair. It makes a difference because highly detergent shampoo fades the hell out of color very fast. Conditioner is something you need to use every time you shampoo, but it is not going to bring color back or make it last longer.
