Right two hairdressers have told me different things. First one is my cousin says if I bleach my hair again I'll go back to my orange colour I had and she'll have to go through the whole process with my hair again but someone on here who also is a hairdresser says thats incorrect because bleach dosn't put the colour back in it takes the colour out this was about 3 weeks ago. I really need another opinion on this please help =[
I really hate the yellowy blonde I have now I know it might go white but I want it more white than yellow

Not the thermal...it's too expensive - I really can't afford that!
I just heard about Rusk's Anti-Curl hair straightener - a chemical process done by a stylist.
Has anyone tried that (or similar that you'd recommend) - Does it keep your hair straight in the humid weather? How long does it last ? How price-y?
Or - what products have you tried while blow drying that get it and keep hair straight/non-frizzy. (No John Freide "Frizz-Ease" recommendations - that just doesn't work for me!)
Thanks!

I've only bleached my hair about twice, but it was waaay too damaging, so I dyed it back to around my natural brown color. I blow dry and straighten it everyday, but it still looks very frizzy and dry. I was wondering if there are any expensive products I could use on my hair while it's growing out that would make it feel and look dramatically healthier? Only answers from people who actually know a thing or two about hair. Thanks!

Okay, so have dark hair, and I've used the fuschia L'oreal Color Rays dye before, and it showed up really brightly and looked nice and everything. So, tonight, I tried the same brand of dye, but in red rather than fuschia, and I did a test strand - the result is that it looks like I just bleached my hair - there's not really any color at all on it. Now, before I go and do all of my hair and end up looking like I highlighted it (meaning the faux-natural, preppy highlights that you see on everyone - I want BRIGHT RED or nothing at all), do you think that the reason the test strand didn't work could be because I didn't get the right proportions when I mixed the dye, and that the test strand was just kind of flukey? I'd do another to double check, but I don't really have the time at the moment... Any input is appreciated, thanks. Also, is there any way to get this particular brand to show up brighter and last longer? It's got peroxide in it. Also, it says not to apply heat... why is that?

The one I have had for years needs to be replaced...and I've been everywhere (drugs stores, Ulta/Sally Beauty Supply/some salons... It really helps pull my hair straight.
The ones that they make now either have these annyoing little round balls at the tips, or have bristles mixed in.
Does anyone know the kind I am talking about? I don't remember where I got this one...but apprarently they don't make them like this anymore. I can't use the boar bristles - they don't go through my hair.

I just bought Beyond The Zone hair dye in Not So Shy Violet. I have dark brown hair and I bleached it twice with a bleaching kit I bought at Sally's (I forgot what the kit was called). I followed all the directions on both products, the bleach worked, but the hair dye didn't. The second that I washed my hair after applying the dye the color came out. What am I doing wrong?

By the way, this is the first time that I have ever dyed my hair.

I really love the way my Revo rotating brush helps me do my hair. I've heard of people who don't like it, but there have to be more like me who love it. I know for me the trick is to have my hair be about 80% dry before I use the Revo on it. It gives a very smooth, soft texture to my hair that lasts for days. My friends and co-workers say my hair looks great.

What do you think of your Revo?

I have blonde hair, I want to go brown because I think it's soo pretty. I did it before but on my own from a box dye.. the color was nice but I looked weird cause my eyebrows are almost white! So I hated it. I went back to blonde, but I'm still wanting dark hair. How should I go about doing this? I've been told dying your eyebrows is a complete hassel and a mess. Should I dye it another color? My eyes are brown.. I'm tan.. why can't my darn eyebrows be visible!! ha! Any comments/advice will be nice! Thanks

i have thick wavy heavy boring hair. Ive read that getting it layered can help it look thinner. is that true? And i want to get it straightened. Ive heard that ceramic straighteners are the best and chemically straightening it is bad for you but it lasts longer. which is the best say to go? I also want to dye my hair... i was thinking black and red. i saw a few pics of what looked like all black with the top layer red or something... what do you think would be the best way to do it?
oh and one more thing!
for whatever you said, what kind of style would you suggest?

Or does it strip hair of the natural oils? I have medium long hair.. I like washing it daily but I'm always rushing in the morning because I have to dry it and all that.

I have dandruff so I think my hair could be dry. But it's shiny and not dull so I guess it's normal..??

Sooooooo should I wash it daily or no?
