I thought it was genetic

My dad never wore a hat and went bald, my brother didn't wear a hat until he went bald and I spent 22 years in the military where I wore a hat every day and I have a full head of hair. BTW, I am 59 years old.

It is genetic unless you apply something to kill the hair follicles or eat something to do the same thing.

HeII I have diabetes, I have no hair below my knees and none on my hands. All has dropped out because of the sugar. And guess what, I still have a full head of hair.

I have a guy I call my cousin, who has been wearing his baseball caps every day except when he sleeps since he was 10. I saw him uncapped for the first time at his sisters wedding last year, and realized that he is actually quite bald. This guy is younger than me--only 24 years old. And yet he has the hairline of a 50 year old man.

So did the caps cause the baldness, or did he start wearing the caps because he was going bald? He wouldn't answer that question when I asked him then, nor since. But I am betting that the caps exacerbated an already existing problem.

wearing a hat can aid in baldness by smothering the hair follicles and yes it is also genetic.as for olive oil growing hair....i don't think so. your hair grows about a half inch a month a little more or less depending on your health.you can not put anything on your head to make a hair follicle and that would be what one would need in order to grow more hair.

No it can't, my grandpa has been wearing hats day-in and day-out for the past ten years and he has a very full thick head of hair, my grandpa is in his 70's and by then most men have gone bald.

Yes! Hat have a tendancy to smother the hair follicle and not allow the scalp to breathe.
It is also genetic.

Hair loss affects both men and women. Here are some natural remedies that can help boost hair growth: https://tr.im/yBNgf
While genetics plays a role, there are other factors, including: hormonal imbalances, an underactive thyroid gland, nutrient deficiencies and insufficient scalp circulation.
