Ok well i naturally have dark brown hair and have been going lighter gradually I am currently up to a level 6/7 dark blonde...If i use a colorant without bleach to go up to 8 or 9 blonde will my hair be ginger at the roots or the hair that has not been previously bleached go ginger?

i started secondary school in 2005 in september and i have really hairy arms, ive worn long sleeves everyday since then and no-one has seen my arms! im really afraid that people will think im ugly. in year 6 i actually shaved them and now i wish i hadnt because i think it has made them worse !! you see.. i dyed my hair yesterday and im a black head so i picked out a clariol orange hair dye and when i dyed it, it came out all orangy-brown-blackish and i wish it would be lighter or have a little blonde to it. is there ANY way i can make it lighter or blonder without dying or bleaching my hair again?
