whats the best type of Gel to us to spike Hair?

I don't like using gel, really... it puts the beginning form into the spikes, but you should always use hairspray. It gives it a nice, firm hold. =]

Spiker by Joico. Once you spike your hair with this stuff, it wil stay spiked. It rocks!!!
