1.Can u wash ur hair every day with shampoo?
2. When u apply lotions like silk & shine, sunsilk 9 to 9, etc...do u have to wash ur hair another day or till when it can be kept appllied.
3. When u oil ur hair,u have to use shikakai soap to remove oil from hair or is there another option.

I have a friend who has a daughter who has real thick curly hair she wants to straighten it, but not until she finds out what to put in it to help with not totally destroying it from the heat. What can she use?? We live in a very small town (pop 550) no blk hairstylist around so she has to learn and do it herself. She has keep her hair braided and done since she was a lil toddler but she is older now and the hair is thicker and harder to manage. Please help!!! what can she do or use?? Thanks!

My hair is 1 1/2 inches to 2 inches long and I want to get cornrows and have been growing for about 4 1/2 months. Is my hair long enough to braid yet? I have been using this new Groganics products or fast hair grown for about 2 weeks now. I have the shampoo, conditioner, vitamins and topical hair solution and it’s been working pretty good so far. I LOVE Thermasilk. Love, love, love. I've tried like seven different brands but always go back to it. But all week I've been trying to buy another bottle of shampoo... and I couldn't find it in stores. I thought, weird... they all ran out?

They didn't. Thermasilk has actually been discontinued. Arrggghh!

Any other users of Thermasilk know of an alternative that is similar? I only have issues with : Dove (it doesn't really clean my hair) and Garnier Fructis (makes my hair fall out.)

In advance: I really appreciate the input; I get so paranoid about my hair.

I have very thick layered hair and i've tried to style my hair to get that poof on the crown of my head, but I failed miserably. I've tried teasing, but I think I may be doing it wrong. Anyways can anyone tell me in detail how to achieve that 60's style bouffant look?

I've been using this cream bleach for in between my eyebrows and things like that. I decided to put some around my belly button on the little peach fuzz hair. After I washed it off, I can really tell my skin is lighter on the place I put it on! Has anyone had this experience? Will my skin color go back to normal? Please help. BTW, it says keep on for 8 minutes and I only left it on for 3.

today i bleached my hair to blonde and it turned strawberry blondish, orange, then i got an ash blonde (sandlewood) hair color(to take the yellow and orange out), then relized it wasn't permanant, I was angry! Am I able to color over the semi permanant hair? i like the color it looks now but i know it will only last for 28 days, my hair now looks goldish blonde with warm tones and light ultra blonde streaks. HELP! i dont want to wait 28 days for it to wash out!

O.K. I had my hair hightlighted and it was not blonde enough, I went back and had them re done but the stylist just went overboard and also left them in too long...I now have slightly over processed hair...I hate it and I don't want to go back again. Is there a color that I can use to cover my yellow colored hair and get a good result. Maybe a semi permanent coppery or reddy brown color...I am so upset, I look like Myra Hindley...(if you are British you will know who she is) any advice will bw warmly welcomed.

i have straight hair. but i always seem to have a layer of wierdly kinky and jagged and twisted hair after i shower and after it dries. it makes my hair look really dry and poofy. it goes away after a day from when i wash my hair but it is SOOO annoying. is there any miracle shampoo ,conditioner, hair product that will straighten these ANNOYING hairs down??? i straighten my hair sometimes but that's not the deal.. how can i make them go away without perming or doing anything damaging? ---my hair is 90% straight 10%annoyingly kinky but then 100% the day after i shower. but i want 100% straight all the time.. please help!!!

What sort of gels or products should I try? I have tried Tresseme, Loreal, and Pantene gels. I also use frizz ease hair serum by John Frieda. Does anyone have any advice about spray gels, leave in conditioners, and stuff like that? Could you please include brand names. PLEASE do not say anything about straightening my hair.

My hair used to be really soft and I could brush it very easily, but now it's very dry and almost stale if you will and I just can't seem to get it back to the way it was. I can't even brush it without it hurting and gobs of hair being pulled out of my head. I do conditioner every day quite frequently but it still won't be soft. I use alot before I go to sleep at night and when I wake up in the morning it s very dry and hard to brush! Someone please please help!

my hair looks very similar to my cartoon avatar but the difference is due to hair coloring and using flat irons and other hair products over the years, i have hair breakage and drying so i wanted to give my hair a rest and start wearing wigs and/or weaves i see a lot of nice looking wigs and so i'm just curious if it's possible with my big *** head lol and my loads of hair so advice please!
