I need some advice for thinning it out. I'm not planning on seeing a hair stylist so if there are any good products out there that may help me, please list them, shampoo, conditioner, anything.

She says it's hard to brush b/c it's hard to reach. She don't really think about what she looks like. She is 12 & in the 6th grade. She sort of has a desire to cut it. But her parents are controlling & desire her to have long hair for the attention they get. "Your daughter has such long hair!" What can she do about this? She has taken it upon herself to cut it. Very badly I have to admit. I evened it out for her and it looks much nicer now. But I can't seem to get her to brush it out every day. By Sunday her hair is ratty nest. She needs some advice as do I on this matter. She is sitting beside me now. Please respond...

I have these weird scabs on my scalp. For some reason I'm ALWAYS itching my head, which gives me scabs, red marks, and a flacky scalp. Is there something wrong with me?

Hey guys, i was wondering about peoples shower routines? Mornings Evenings or both? I tend to do both, and i shampoo/condition/body wash both showers. i was wondering if showering/using soap this often dry up my skin or make my hair dried up? If so, should i use moisturizers like vasiline after?

What it is supposed to do: (Example: Give hair volume and strength)
Where you bought it: (Example: Walgreens)
Why you bought it: (Example: dandruff relief, clean hair)
Does it do what it's supposed to do: (Example: No, it just got worse)
Look, I know this is time consuming, but I'm going to find out why your shampoo does or doesn't work, and if it has damaging stuff in it.

tomorrow i am planning to get my haircut and i want to get it cut emo/goth/punk/grudge style. (no not the movie grudge like whatever Kurt Cobain is) and how should i tell them to cut my hair?

What's that one hairstyle called? Monica Geller had it on a season of Friends and it looked really cute on her. It was I think season 6. She had some front parts of her hair cut to about the middle of her cheeks and then the rest of her hair was long. It was on the sides of her face.

I don't know what's the actual name of that thing (not sure if there is any..:S) so I'm calling the stick. Some ladies with long hair will use a stick, roll up their hair quickly and stuff that stick right through the bun, leaving a short tail still dangling but the hair is nicely tied up with just the stick.

How can a stick hold up the hair that good? o_O Is there a website that teaches you this way of tying your hair?

I just bought a Chi flat iron and I have very thick, medium length hair. I was wondering how long it takes to straighten your hair yourself, with the flat iron and how long the straighten lasts? I normally wash my hair everyday, should I change to washing it every other day?

Hi,

Does anyone know of any way to have hair thinned but to still have it look natural? Permanente or otherwise?
I have very hairy legs and I would feel a lot better if there was about 50% - 65% less hair than there is now.
Any related advice would be appriciated aswell.

I usually use Garnier Fructis Length and Strength.So if i buy the CVS brand Fruit Concentrate Long and Strong, do you think i would get the same results? I know that they cant possibly be the same thing because im sure that Garnier won't let another company use their formula but i looked at the ingredients and they are similar.
