1. Begin with clean, dry, tangle-free hair.
2. Brush your hair back into a low ponytail. Raise it a little higher on the head if you wish to include shorter side layers. Get a firm grip around the base of the ponytail and use your other hand to twist the tail into a tight spiral.
3. Hold the base of the ponytail with one hand, then lift the tail straight up with the other. Begin to coil it clockwise around the base. When you've made half of a circle, release the hand holding the base and use it to hold the forming bun as you continue to coil the tail.
4. Complete one rotation - a little more if you have longer hair - then tuck the end of the tail under the bun. If your hair is long enough, you might be able to push the tail through the bun and make a knot.
5. Secure the bun using a a hair stick. Insert the stick pointed in and up, then lift like a lever and weave the stick into your hair.
or
push the tip of the hair stick up through the right or left corner of your bun, so that a thin flat layer rests on top of the stick.
Rotate the stick 180 degrees and push it gently through the base of the bun.
6. As the stick begins to emerge, hook a small amount of hair on the underside of the left corner, then center the stick.
JUST REMEMBER!
Let your fingers do the work. With a little practice they'll learn where to put all of the things you can't see. Look at the final results and let your fingers feel areas that might need an adjustment.
After just a little practice, you will find that using a hair stick is the easiest thing for simple every day styles with unlimited variations!

Hi!!
I don't think there's a website that tells you how to do this because it's soo easy!! I'll tell you, but I'll try to find a site in case you want pictures or something like that.
-First, pull your hair back into a medium ponytail. By medium I mean it's not at the nape of the neck, but it's not really a high ponytail either. That is, of course, if you want a "stick-do" that is around the middle of the back of your head.
-Next, twist your hair that you gathered into a ponytail (which you have secured with an elastic, by the way. This isn't required, but it makes the style a bit easier and it holds up better in the end) so that it almost forms a cord sort-of-thing. It's now like you have a ponytail, but the actual "tail" is now a twisted "rope" of hair, if you know what I mean.
-Get the twisted "rope", and wrap it around the base of the pony (the part you secured with an elastic) to form a bun. Once you have this...
-Get your "stick" (pencil, chopstick, actual made-for-your hair stick) and slide it through the bun, to secure it in that bun-like position. Presto!
(tip: it also helps (and is common) to use two sticks. This kind-of gives it an Oriental feel, if you don't like that, just use one. The two makes it a bit easier though. Sometimes you have to try at it a few times so that the stick holds the hair up just like you want it to.

ok and it isnt called a french twist either if u ask for that u will get something completely different, its like a bun, if u can wrap ur hair in a bun u can do it, all u need to do is just twist ur hair untill it is really tight, then wrap it like u would do a bun and stick the stick thru it, but when u do the stick try to keep it as close to the scalp as u can, when i do it i have really thin hair so i kind of wave it up and down as i push it thru, but if u want some extra support then wrap a rubber band or scrunchie around it first, but this should help u its really simple to do and it may take u a few times to get it right just take ur time and dont give up, it takes pratice to get it right, so hang in there

I have fine hair, so I use a band to tie it up and then wrap a loose strand around the band so you can't see it. The stick I add later. Yes the long strand hanging down, looks like you just wrapped it up and on your way. A very sexy look.
