a chi flat iron has ceramic head that helps make the hair straighter in a shorter amount of time. I use one and would buy another one in a heart beat. They work so much better and I probably tried 10 straightners before I came to the Chi.

Chi is a brand name and they make ceramic flat irons...It's kind of like the Louis Vuitton of flat irons...however, I have heard that they aren't all that and you can find cheaper ceramic flat irons that can get the job done too. Just shop around.

I have a Chi turbo and it works great. I had a cheap Conair one before and it burned out within a month. You get what you pay for!

its a pure ceramic flat iron, i own one, it works great and it doesnt damage your hair unlike the cheap ones that are plated ceramic.
