I have nautrally light brown hair. I colored it red and was too red so i colored it to dark brown. It's way too dark! how can i lighten/fade it with out wrecking my hair.

I have iron board strait hair. And it's pretty long. My curling iron will give me a temporary lift at the end of my strands, but it does nothing else, even when rolled to my scalp... So I bought some rag rollers, which seem to been metal curlers wrapped in cloth with stationary pins...
before I execute this styling experiment, I was wondering what I should do to help my hair hold the waves... gels? mousse? wax? Should I hang my head upside down or eat many bananas the previous day to hold sheen??? j/k I have no idea what to do... INPUT PLEASE!!!

My hair is extraordinarily thick, and wavy, my conair flat iron just doesn't do the job, does anybody have any tips on which one works the best? I'd appreciate details/experiences, money isn't really an issue. Thanks so much!

i have to blow dry my hair because i have two cowlicks, but the little hairs that frame my face and the broken pieces in my part stand straight up. i blow dry my hair upside down for volume. how do i get those little hairs to calm down?

i have long wavy hair and its usually parted in the middle. i've tried parting it in the side after i get out of the shower, but my hair doesnt stay that way if i put it in a ponytail or move it around. how do i make the side part stay? thanks.

my hair was recently cut boy cut short, but now it is growing and it is just 1/3 theway down my neck and i have no idea what to do with it. i wrap it every night, but when i unwrap it my hair is always flat.How can i give my hair volume and wat are some ideas for hairstyles?i would greatly appreciate it.

My hair is currently not long but not short. It covers my ears, but just barely, and I have thick hair. I want to get my hair sorta like an emo cut, with one side combed over the eye, and I can get it the way I want when it is wet, but if i run my fingers through my hair at all after it dries, it messes up. I put on just a little gel, a little less than half an inch long, and the diameter being the same as bottled gel comes in, about a half centimeter.

How can I get my hair to stay in place more, without being rigid. By the way, I use TRESamme mega sculpting gel

I really screwed up lol.i HAD dirty blond hair that everyone liked, but i thought there was nothin special about it.Everyone is going blond so i decided to go really dark brown! well, now my hair is growing out and the color looks funny...there is about an inch of blond with the rest, about a foot, brown! i dont have the money to get the color out by a salon, so does anyone know how i can get the color out SAFELY????I have already tried dyeing it to a lighter brown, but the tint is so dark it only dyed the roots...im not allowed to dye my hair anymore, so help before i look like a skunk lol!!!!!!!!!!

I've heard of permanent hair straighteners but do they actually work? I love how my hair looks when its straightened from its natural curls but I hate having to go through the same procedure of straightening it every day and I know how damaging that can be on it as well. Is there a way to at least relax it so it will be easier to straighten? Thanks.

my hair is quite long and black... my job requires me to have hair up... i dont want a pony tail or a bun!

i want something sexy... any suggestions?

ok, i have really curly red hair. iv never died it before as im only 14 and my parents have never allowed me to colour it. but now im totally sik of it and want a drastic change. first i thought about just having a dark brown but im mad on blue do you think it would look good with blue on the undernearth?? any tips on wat to do? and im only looking for semi-permanant colouring incase i dont like it, thnx.
