I have natural black hair, how ever it isn't curly, and the only time it waves (very slightly) is if I brush my hair back wet and let it sit. I didn't want to go back to relaxers, and i have tried a texturizer, which didn't do to much. I also have split ends and use hot oil treatments for the condition. i feel as if there is no way to style my hair besides straightening it. i am currntly 16 and i had a relaxer from 8 to 15 years old. I don't know what to do!!!! * i live in st. louis and i DO NOT want to use weave*

i have curly hair, for years I've been fighting it, I finally decided to embrace it. I put product in it yesterday while it was wet and scrunched it a lot, and 2 different people (one was my sister) asked me if I had gotten a perm cus they'd never seen my hair that curly.

what are some good products to use, or things I can do that will really make my curls pop?

Alright, I love straight hair and absolutely hate my natural curly perm hair. I straighten it with an iron during the winter, and it looks really nice. When winter passes and humitey comes, my evil curls are always taking control. I'll walk out of the house with straight hair, and within seconds, the humidity turns it into an unbelivable ugly perm. I can't permantly strraigten it or relax it because my ahir is colored and it would really damage it. Can anyone help me, please, my hair can get soooo embarrassing. Thank you!

everytime i take a shower, i towel dry it. when i take it out, i comb it, but i usually don't blow dry it. usually i take showers at night, and when i go to bed my hairs a little damp, but its mostly straight. but when i wake up, its really poofy. seriously, its horrible. i have to wake up early just so i have time to straighten it - which is usually about 45 minutes! how do i make my hair dry straighter?
