how to dye the underneath of my hair?

i need step by step details please.i don't havwe the cash to go out and get it done,so my mom will prob. do it..links would be helpful too.thankyou!

It is simple really. Choose your color, usually a dark blonde, which will show up as light brown usually, or use a light brown, or use a red.

Section hair in the back from the top of the ear. Pony tail this and pin it up to keep it out of the way. Apply vaseline or conditioner to the roots of the upper section to keep color off. Apply darker color to bottom section, time as usual.

This effect looks best when you have Medium layers.
