Frizzy hair will not only "frazzle" you, but make you look "frazzled" as well. There are some tips to follow on a regular basis, as well as an inexpensive way to keep the "frizzies" at bay.

Do not use a hair brush. Using a hair brush on thick hair and "frizzy" prone hair will cause split ends. Instead, use a hair pick when your hair is wet, then finger comb when your hair is dry. In the morning when you wake up, if you have "bed" hair, spritz your hair with water and finger comb it into place.

Do not rub your hair with a towel when wet. Instead, let your hair set in a towel for 10 minutes, then take the towel off.

Air dry your hair instead of using a blow dryer or hair dryer (the kind with bonnets attached to a hose). This will also cut down on split ends. Using a curling iron or hot rollers is acceptable, but this can also damage your hair if not done properly.

u cud also try this
After washing your hair, add a small amount of Natural Vegetable Glycerin to your mousse or gel. add approximately a dime size amount of Glycerin to about a quarter size amount of gel in ur hand. wet ur other hand with just a dab of water. Rub hands to mix the water, glycerin and gel. Run through hair and style as usual.

Here's a tip: Brush your hair in the shower while you have conditioner on and then when you get out pat your hair dry and use some argan oil to smooth down the frizz. Mine is called Pro Natural and I ordered it online but it was so worth it, I never leave the house without using that stuff first. It helps a lot. It’s not greasy or anything and it smells good. After that you can do whatever you want with your hair. That's it, hope this helps...

John frieda frizz ease is your best bet. I have hair that is curly and frizzy. If your hear is curly try bed head cocky. If you strighten your hair use an ionic striaghtener( the one from sharper image is magic)
dont use a brush with plastic bristes it will damage the hair.
ONe thing i do if i dont have time to straighten my hair after a shower is wrap it in a towl for about 30 mintues then on my way out put a little john frieda frizz ease secretwepon in my hair. It works almost any time.

one last tip if you live in an area that is really humid you might want to try using a light hair spray that will hold some of the friz down without making your hair look cemented to your head.

Hey...I am mixed with black and white so I have really curly, frizzy hair too. The anti-frizz shampoos don't work to well for me, so try the leave-in conditioners or mousse that's called "Curl Up in Silk". It's phenominal and it does wonders! :-D

If all else fails, try straightening it with a ceramic flat iron.

Good luck! ;-)

Lina,

I am one big "puff ball" however a flat iron has been my best friend. Have you tried one? Go to Sally's.
Also John Freida lines always help the frizz control and a large brush to blow dry damp hair.
I used to be at wits end until I found a flat iron (aka as my bff)
