dont waste your money on scruch spray or whatever its called. all you need is either regular gel or mousse. get your hair wet, and depending on how scuchy you want it, you can blow dry it upside down. put gel/mousse in your palm and scrunch your hair in an upward direction. to actually scrunch it just grab your hair and squeeze it like you are holding a handfull of sand or something. this works better if you dont dry your hair completely with the blow dryer, but instead about 4/5's dry, and the last bit let air dry.

if you want the shaggy or beachy look, do the scrunch thing but dry it all the way with a blow dryer, and dont use as much gel/mousse.

How To Scrunch Hair :)

Styles with natural wave, flips and ripples are hot this spring. To get this look you may have to master the art of Scrunching.
If your hair has a slight natural bend, wave or natural curl, follow these steps.

Shampoo and condition with products formulated to improve your hair's texture and flexibility.

Towel dry your hair so that it is damp, not dripping.

Apply a firm hold styling aid from the root area to the ends. Hair Gel or Glaze is usually better for heavy hair and Styling Foam or Mousse usually works for fine hair. You may have to experiment to see which works for you.

To dry your hair, you will either use a diffuser or let it dry naturally. Either way, you must be patient to not rush the drying process.

I do not know if this will work for everyone but this is what I was told to do with mine:
You put curl enhanceing mousse in your hair and then you take some of your hair and twist it Counter-Clockwise and before you untwisted it you take it and apply a ton of good gel and then let go after 5min then move on to the rest of your hair. Hopefully it works.

when i get out of the shower, and separate my hair out with my fingers. then i run mousse and gel through it. after that, i put it back up in a towel while i do my makeup and stuff. when i take it down, i blow dry with a diffuser. it works for me.
