I will most likely be going to my first resident assistant reception tuesday night. Would it be appropriate to wear a nice polo shirt and a nice pair of jeans? That is the nicest looking thing I have.

hell no. suit is not neccasary but my god not jeans. a dress shirt and tie and pair of dockers or something along that line.

maybe u shud wear dress pants, prolly black and then a nice shirt..like a dress hirt unbutton at the top. doesnt have to be white ethier..like blue or striped or along those lines... you should also ppl who are going what they are wearing. but for me, being overdressed is better than underdressed...
