Blonde hair?

Question

Ok well i naturally have dark brown hair and have been going lighter gradually I am currently up to a level 6/7 dark blonde...If i use a colorant without bleach to go up to 8 or 9 blonde will my hair be ginger at the roots or the hair that has not been previously bleached go ginger?

Hi yes more than likley it will be, why dont you just use a bleach to lighten you whole head, Like Jerome Russels Bblonde, just remember to use the 12% peroxide and leave it on for 2 hours. You shouldnt be using hair dye to try an lighten your hair as its not for this perpous, If you want to go lighter you either use a pre lightener, but it will go orange or use a bleach to get the blonde you desire. But you have to leave it on for ages or else it wont lighten enough plus it depends on how thick you hair is and how many powdered sachet you will need and bottles of peroxide.

definitely yes you have to pre-lighten all your hair before going blonde otherwise you will get two tone

the best thing to do is go to the hairdressers and get it done probley becacuse den it wont go wrong.
