Best way to prevent split ends?

I just got a haircut and I have no split ends at all. How can I prevent them from coming back?

Wet hair should never be brushed, it should be combed gently. Excessive blow drying or straigtening can cause split ends. When drying hair with a towel it should be squeezed gently, not hurredly rubbed with a towel. When hair is normal all of the scales on the outer layer lie flat. All of the things listed above can cause them to lie at odd angles and result in split ends. Also, products that claim to heal split ends, only temporarily glue them back together.

Use a deep conditioner as quickly as a week to maintain your hair nourished and have the ends trimmed each 6 weeks. Use good moisturizing shampoo and conditioner, use a good quality brush, don't heat style every day if you can help it and get a trim every 8 weeks.

dont expose your hair into heat. keep it moisturized all day. If hair is dry, it tends to split. And also, take into consideration your scalp. It must be dandruff free and also moisturized.

just have a trim at the hairdressers every month or get a protection sray

dont blow dry.. use deep conditioners.. dont brush it too much.. every week or too oil it over night .. these really help but take time n r so boring !!

keep hair oil..........I usually oil my hair and scalp every other night. I also keep my ends trimmed........once every month.
