part your hair to the side you want the bangs to fall. pin back all the other hair so only the bangs are down. make sure you know how long you want them. starting from the top of the bang, cut a little going down at an angle. don't cut too much off because you might regret it, you can always cut more off later. if you are unhappy with the way they came out go t a salon to have it fixed. good luck

um...dunno..If U actually trust ur self.then ya u can cut it urself...the way i do it, i put the section of the hair that i want to be for side bangs right infront of my face...to keep it there, u cud tie it or place a clip...hold the scissors horizontally.then jus cut straight across...very straight...then wen done, remove the tie/clip nd part ur new bangs to the side u want...*if u want it more fringe...u cud take the piece of ur hair bangs (without the tie/clip) then take ur fine scissors (holdin vertically now. lik the tips ponitin upward, nd hanlde facin to the floor) and cut the tips of hair wit ur scissors's tips...confusing i kno...
-but if ur not sur u cud actually do this, i suggest cuttin a little then u want.then start goin up...cause if u cut wat u want, but doesnt turn out right...ur hair bangs wud jus hav to grow again enough to cut it good...

Part your hair to the side and cut like 3 inches into your hair at an angle. then part your hair the way you want!

Word of advice...............DON'T!!!
If you make a mess of it you'll kick yourself. Go to a salon and get someone who knows what they're doing cut it for you.
