I have asked questions about my hair dye before.I went to the hairdressers and they said that they could'nt dye over the black as it would'nt take,and even if they stripped it,they said it would turn out quite red,not close to my natural haircolour,i want to go back to strawberry blonde,my roots are strawberry blonde,but the rest of my hair is black,i tryed to dye over it with a lighter colour but it did'nt change.I want the black to fade so it will blend in better with my hair as it grows out.Any ideas what i can do?

Ok so heres my story..

On December the 27th last year I decided I wanted to dye my hair. I'd dyed it before, slightly lighter, and my roots were near my ears so I thought I would try dying it again. I went and bought a light ash blonde colour and a pre-lightener. To cut a long story short the pre-lightener turned my hair orange. I was absolutely mortified. The other dye didnt help much at all and i spent the next couple of days trying to find solutions and crying more than ever. After trying to dye it again I went to a salon. I had it dyed medium ash brown which looked good. For about a week. It faded so quickly and I didnt know what to do. I've ended up going back and having it done again. Which has also faded back to orange. At present I have driven myself into depression. I cannot face going outside and I am considering leaving college. Nothing is helping and I have lost the will to live. Maybe if i tried dying it blue, would that help? I cannot find any blue toners. Please help.

my hair is about 2 inches long, when i wash it, a bunch of little hairs that are about 1 cm usually falls out. however none of the actual 2 inch ones fall of. so i just wanted to know why those little hairs fall out and if its normal or not.

My natural hair after I leave it to dry naturally or after I blow dry it is realy strange, it's quite 'fluffy' and quite straight but with little 'kinks' in it, and because of them it looks uneven and really messy. I could never wear my hair as it is natrurally.
I know I shouldn't but every day (When im going out and to school) I straighten my hair, and some days I curl it with spiral curlers.
I want some other styles, some different waves that I can get without having to use heat every morning.
I always wash my hair the night before and style it in the morning. Could anyone suggest any styles I could do easily, i'd especially love some lose waves.

I used some manic panic 3 days ago on my bleached hair. It was "after midnight blue" (cobalt). I washed it like 15 times and it stained my hair light green. Is there any way to get it out without bleaching it again??

A few months ago my hair was smooth,but since i stated using Head& Shoulders shampoo it has become dry and dull.I think it is because of the chemicals,because i used shampoo everyday for a month,i am worried.What should i do to get back my shiny and smooth hair?
