Of you have alwys had straight hair then the sudden change could be caused by the dryness of the hair. Have you been using too much of blow drying, striaghtening? Anyways to restore the moisture in the hair massage your hair daily with olive oil and wash it off in the morning (completely). This will result in relaxed hair and less frizz.

maybe your hair has been subjected to dampness, or even it good be a change in hormones that has made your hair change. sometimes if you have used hot rollers to tame your hair to be curly the frequent use will encourage the hair to do so.

maybe u cut yer hair too much
because everytime you get your hair cut it gets thinker and maybe a few curls start to show.
or maybe u just use too many hair care products, because using too much will damage your hair, but i doubt that would be the case. unless u use hair gel, moose, or hairspray to curl your hair.

probably too much straightening has made them dry. they need moisture.
Use a good conditioner and try a warm oil massage on them.
