What I use to do when I worked in my shop was I would put a hot iron on the hair when needed . Most people today don't use rollers unless they are hot rollers . I like the way the hair feels when it is set with roller, and it does last longer than you would think. The only thing is that you have to sit under a hair dryer and most people today don't own one . I still have the one from my shop and it does come in handy but my husband wants me to get rid of it and I won't .

you can got to wal-mart or any beauty supply store and you split your hair in to little strips but not to small and you twist the ends with the roller and put a rag or something over the rollers. and to keep curls in your hair its called a water Perm and you just wash you hair and do that it will keep your hair curly till you wash it agian it safe and it don't hurt your hair.

Well, it depends on how often you wash your hair. If you only wash it once a week, then there really is no way to keep it curly unless you repeat putting curlers in every night or you get extensions (curl extensions of course). To put curlers in your hair ( or at least this is what i do with my hair) you wash it, blow dry it, straighten it with a flat iron, spray it with hair spray (and comb the hairspray through), and then just put in the curlers. Good luck!

You can put mousse or setting lotion on you're hair before putting rollers in, setting lotion is available from chemists.
If you have heat on you're hair whilst in rollers i.e. you're hair dryer.. ensure you blast you're rollers with cold air for a good 5 mins before removing to ensure it sets. good luck!
