Hair - January 2007

I have long hair and i dont really know how to make it curly besides scrunching. if i try sometimes it gets hard and not very pretty. im not good with curling irons so any help is much thanked.

I had a sort of long side swept bang that went to the end of my cheekbone. Then I decided I wanted it shorter.My mistake was when i went to cut it I cut it too fast.Now they're uneven.I'm 13 so u kno how important image is at my age.Is there any way to make them grow faster or make them unnoticabe.How long will it take for them to grow about 6 inches. I kno that sounds like a lot but my hair is pretty long & that's what makes them more noticable.

I just bought pink hair dye. I was think of doing sortof highlights. I'm going to do some streaks of pink in my bangs, any other suggestions? I was thinking of doing the tips of my hair pink but how could I get that as an even line? Thanks!

I have curly, color treated hair, so I usually only wash it two or three times a week. I currently use a Biolage spray-in moisturizer between washings, but I want something that will hydrate more.

Any suggestions on a good product to put in my hair on those days when I do not wash it?

I am a 28 year old woman. About 5 years ago. I start to notice myself dropping alot of hairs when I combed my hair after shampooing. At first I was not affected by it but it soon got serious. The top and side of my head has significant less hair and bald patches can be seen too. Most of my friend noticed the condition. I start to hate going to hair salon because everytime they cut my hair, they will notice my thinning hair problem and try to sell me their in-house products which never work. I even consulted my GP and was prescribed Regaine but it didn't help. In fact, the condition got worse because my scalp got so itchy after the application.

I used to have very nice straight and smooth hair,but now, due to the thinning hair problem and lack of visit to the hair salon, I looked like an old lady. I feel very sad about the whole thing. This whole issue is affecting my self-esteem but I really do not know how to find my old self back. Please help.

I am white and her father is black. Her hair is curly and if left alone will get very poofy and frizzy. Right now I am using something called Baby Love and its okay. But her hair gets really tangled. Any suggestions of some other products to try and where I could find them.

Earlier today I tried dying my reddish/dark blonde hair with Lie Locks (purple) Manic Panic. I left it in for about 3 hours, washed it out and now that's dryed..... nothing. It looks exactly like it did before, maybe a bit darker.
I have some Burgundy (Revlon) permanent hair dye that I've used before and, while it wasn't the color I wanted at the time, it was more purple than my hair turned out with Manic Panic.

Here's my question: can I dye the burgundy color over the Manic Panic, preferably today or tomorrow? Will it damage it to re-dye so soon? If so, about how long should I wait to use the permanent dye?
