five good reasons of how to make your parent give you a perm & why?

i want a perm and my mom wont give one to me.was it something i said? how do i persuade her into giving me one?

Girlfriend, the reason your mother said "NO" is because she lived through the 80's, and anyone that did knows that perms are a big no no.

They never look like they did in the magazine when you pointed them out to the hairdresser. They take ages to grow out. Your hair is never really the same afterwards and like roots, they need continual maintenance.

Perms are now only for little old ladies that have their hair washed and set at the hairdressers every week. Notice how they all look the same?

Don't try and persuade your mother to change her mind. Just put it down to something she has first hand experience in. Learn to love what you are given and use it to your best advantage.

Go and see a good stylist (not just a hairdresser) and find out what styles would suit your face.

i dont know why she wont let you have a perm say that you will pay for it and you will follow the rules with getting a perm like waiting to wash your hair etc

if your Mom doesn't want to give you a perm ,don't push it I have seen some HORRIBLE home perms that can totally damage your hair from being extra dry to breaking off!!

tell her why you want one. prove to her that you really want it, and deserve it.
