what curling iron can i get at beauty supply stores(sally's) or target for $65-$70 and UNDER???

i want a BIG barrel curling iron to get waves/big curls in my hair/ i have fairly thick straight hair.

please something that is not TOO or OVERLY drying.

Without damaging it?
My hair is already damaged, but It looks a mess without being straightened.
And using an iron makes it worse.
Any ideas?

I think on one my side [of my head], I have more baby hair than the other side of my head. The side of my head with no hair has no hair! Is it a bald spot? How can I fix it?

Theres, like no hair on the side. I have side swept bangs and when I lift my hair up, I see no hair but I see hair on the other side. Why and how can I fix it? I've had this, since, like 4 th grade or 3 rd grade. If I take prental hair vitamins, will the hair on my side grow back soon?

every time I wet my hair and run my hands through it 3 -5 strands come out and just never stops. I noticed this about 2 weeks ago. It is not from one spot it is coming from all over my head. I stoped using everything that I used to use and I cut my hair real short and still having the same problem? I know that the normal hair loss is 50 to 100 but is it noticeable? My dad is not bald by the way.

Cut it? Dye it? Perm it? Or is it fine like it is? I would like to hear your opinions. Oh, and you can't really tell with the picture but my hair is to the middle of my back..maybe a little longer.

I recieved a relaxer and set on Jan 16th. I am going to a big party on Feb.10th. Could a put a touch in relaxer in or should I just go to a salon and get a wash, deep conditioning, and set. I have known people to do put realxer in on the third week, but I thought I would ask. Thank in advance.
