Be sure to use a lightweight conditioner when you shampoo, and there are now hair dryers that use the positive and negative ion thing to where your hair does not get the fly aways when you dry it. You can also buy a product called Fizz Control that you spray on your hair before you dry that can help control fly away, frizzy or static-y hair as it dries, too. Other than that, you might just have to rely on the weather man... when the air is dry, the hair will fly! LOL

You just need to use a good shampoo and conditioner like Bed head control freak or Matrix sleek looks ...Sleek looks has a whole line of products for hair straightening that combat all different problems ....But your problem is definitely lack of moisture ....in your hair ...not in the air ...using a flat iron spray before straightening will most definitely add moisture ...and also protect from damage ...Trust me ...I've been doing hair for 9 years ...

If you put a little bit of hairspray on the comb before combing your hair,it should help. Also, don use too much hair conditioner. There are special hairsprays for static,if nothing from the above works..

i use coconut oil om my hair when i staraighten it and that seems to work fine for me... and i straighten it with a curling iron. my friend uses relaxers on her hair then she straightens it with a curling iron as well, she also uses coconut oil. not alot because then your hair will become greasy. give it a try... it might also be the type of conditioner you use. try to switch and see if that works if the coconut oil doesnt work for you.

Your hair appears to be dry. Keep it moist with a hair lotion and the static will disappear.

Use Static Guard, that spray-stuff that people use on their clothes---just spray your brush a bit, then brush it thru your hair.

And, in a pinch, you can use a fabric softener sheet---just lightly stroke your hair with it.

Smells fresh, too!

There are leave-in conditioners that you can use. Also, try a spray conditioner as an all-over spray (not to heavy or it will look greasy) after you're done styling.
