Micros have more versatilty than kinky twist and look more polished but Kinky Twist promote hair growth and u don't have to do much 2 maintain them. I believe that it just depends on what state ur hair is in, because if its unhealthy or breaking I would suggest kinky twist, but if ur hair rarely breaks off and is very healthy micros would suit you

I PREFER THE MICRO BRAIDS......TWIST ARE OK.....I LIKE THE WAY TRACKS LOOK TOO.......
