should i get a CERAMIC CONAIR CURLING IRON???

i want a BIG barrel curling iron to get waves/big curls in my hair.

if not name one from sallys or target for under $70,,,$70 is the top amount ill pay

NO !! Save your money, ceramic curling irons are NOT better than standard curling irons for creating curls and making them last. **This has been found by myself and many of my co-workers, friends etc.

However, if you still want to buy a ceramic iron, do not buy a Conair - it's a much cheaper brand than the others out there and you will not be satisfied with the way it curls. Look into spending some more $$ and you won't regret it.

I use a big barrel iron (not ceramic) made by Helen of Troy and it works extremely well...I have tossed out 2 ceramic irons becasue they did not curl at all!

ceramic irons are best because they have even heat and don't scorch hair. I would try to go for a more professional iron the conair. Try a beauty supply store HOT tools is a good iron

they are lower priced, yet in case you curl your hair with a ceramic barrel, your curls received't stay intact for extremely lengthy. Ceramic is basically only good for certain hair i bought a ceramic straightner and it was not good for my hair at all it barely did anything but it doesn't fry your hair like the rest but it really only works if you have really thin hair so good luck. =]

I got one and I was sorry! That was the biggest waste of money! Then a couple of friends of mine tried giving theirs to me! LOL!
