When you go for shampoo look for those that have the vitamin 'zinc' in it. It'll show it in the ingredients part near the end of the long list. Seems like a pain, but zinc really seems to be the missing ingredient that gets rid of the dandruff in my hair.

Tea-tree shampoo is the best for removing build-up due to flakey scalp. It's natural too. You can use the drops if you like or buy the special shampoo.

Find something with tea tree oil in it. Be sure you are not over washing and drying out your scalp. I know you don't want to hear it but, oil your scalp. If you are African American you need it. Look for natural products that do not have mineral oil or petroleum in them.
