Hair - January 2007

I have little baby hairs that curl and stick up straight when I get rained on. I don't want to straighten my hair because I like it curly. What do I do that is affordible for someone that just lost their job? I want to look good for my interview next week.

so, i have short hair..barely up to my shoulders..
and the ONLY things that gets my hair a bit static-ky
is right when i brush it..after blowdrying with PRODUCT, mind you.
also, the product is used in tiny incrememnts..i don't overdo it, i just use a bit for my hair as needed.
so, should i use a different brush? how long does one usually keep a hairbrush for anyway?
so yeah..my hairbrush gives me static and i don't like that!
does anyone know an answer to this?

i'm black and white . . .so i ended up a little yellowish tanish, but i'm have pink undertones. what color pink should i dye my hair?

after I shave within a day I have little red bumps, I notice whether I wear underwear or not I get them. I have tried lotion but it doesn't seem to make much of a difference. is there another type of lotion or is there something else I need to do? I gave up shaving for a while till I figure out something. thanks

I have dark brownish hair and it's a few inches above my shoulders. I want it to be emo-ish and different. I don't want it to be something that other people have, but I also do not want it to be some CRAZY look that's creepy looking. I would like a website with pictures..can anyone help me out? I have shoulder length hair, my daily hair care includes washing at night with shampoo (no conditioner) and brushing it. I don't use hair product or a straighter or anything.

Here's my problem...

My hair is either really greasy and lifeless or it's really dry and frizzy. If I use moisture shampoo it gets way to greasy and if I use shampoo designed to get rid of grease it gets dry again.

What is an easy and inexpensive fix to this problem? If my hair wouldn't be too dry or greasy I would start styling it more but it seems to make the problem worse.

as soon as i blow dry my hair, my hair POOFS
also if i just comb it, it still poofs
the sprays i've used don't work
i've tried straightening it after it poofs, but the straightener doesnt help
also, i have to wait 1-3 days before my hair is normal again
