I hope this helps...and just remember that your layers will look differently if you straighten your hair or not, so it's best to tell the hairdresser which you do...also make sure you tell her what length you want the layers before your hair is wet and point out the length don't just say an inch or two...because your inch will be different from her inch.

There are a lot of different layered cuts. It just means that your hair is cut at different lengths instead of one length. There's ususally the shortest layer on the top and the longest layer on the bottom. It's a really nice look, but it requires a bit of time to style (flat layers don't look good) and it's almost impossible to pull off if you have fine hair.

I have long layered hair. It's very long! Obvo! Also, it kinda has the cute little flip to it at the very end. At the top it's kinda wavy yet straight. It's a great style. However, you gotta keep it well washed. Because, since theirs layers you never know what kinda nasty germs and grime could be building up. That's what my hairdresser told me. So go out their and get the layered look. It's really hot!

I really like them both and I hope this helps you. And I just want to let you know that if you get long layers and you don't like them at least you can cut your hair into a shorter look afterwards. Good luck!

IT REALLY DEPENDS ON YOUR HAIR, THE THICKNESS, TEXTURE, CURLY OR STRAIGHT, ETCH. CHECK ON THE WEB AND SEE YOU CAN FIND ANY LAYERED HAIR STYLES THAT LOOKS LIKE YOUR TYPE OF HAIR. YOU CAN ALSO GO TO SALON AND LOOK AT PICTURE AND HAIR DRESSER CAN TELL YOU IF THIS HAIR STYLE WOULD WORK WITH YOUR HAIR. GOOD LUCK.

Maybe something like this: http://www.hissandpop.com/eva-longoria/photos/eva-longoria-004.jpg
Eva Longoria has long layers. Also if you remember Sandra Bullock from the first Miss Congeniality movie, her hair was long and layered and very pretty. If you hate it just cut the layers off and wear it short.
