Its been said that lemon juice lightens your hair. In the summer you hair seems darker then normal so people put lemon juice in it to lighten it up

When you put lemon juice in your hair,a chemical in the lemons lightens your hair.Most people put lemon juice in their hair to give them highlights or a lighter color.

Because they are thinking that it is a "natural" way of putting "highlights" in their hair. I am here to tell you that lemon juice dosen't fool anybody! It just ends up drying the hair out and in some cases turns the hair orange.

One reason is it's supposed to make it so it looks like you have highlights. The other reason is because lemon juice dries out the hairs oils. If you have oily hair, this is a good solution to use.

It lightens the hair causing the appearance of high lights. It can be very damaging so you are better off going to a beauty parlor and having high lights put in that way.
