I have had very thick hair throughout my life. was put on thyroid meds a few years back due to a sluggish thyroid and have been on birth control for years but neither one has seemed to be the cause of this due to the fact this has happened only within the last year. this really cant be due to age can it?

Ok, dyed my hair black about 3 months ago. It was a cheap bottle(around 5 bucks) but now I want red tips. SOooooo, Any chance this cheap bottle will fade the color off soon so I can hit up the red? Do I need to bleach my hair fully, go over the ends with red, then the rest in black? Try red dye anyway and hope it shows up over the black? Other products other than bleach that can remove the black? I don't want to go to a salon to do what I could prolly do for a hell of a lot cheaper.

A month ago, I got my hair cut extremely short. Just recently, I've been assumed as a guy when I'm acutally a gal. ^^; Also, it may or may not help to say that my hair is very oily. I wash it and the next day it's slicked like I had gel in my hair or something. Help please?

my sister does my hair because she's a professional cosmetologest. recently, (about 3-4 months ago) i went from a very (almost bleached) blonde hair to dark brown. after having this hair for the past couple months, i'm ready to go back to blonde. my sister said that it's not really gonna be easy, so i'm assuming she's just gonna bleach it? i havent totally discussed it with her, but like i said, i know soon that i want to go back to blonde. i havent gotten my roots done since going dark (they are maybe just a touch lighter than the dark) so any advice on going about getting back to VERY blonde hair???????? thanks! (i'll refer this to my sis, haha..)

My hair is quite naturally curly, layered and below-the-shoulder lenght. It's been abit damaged due to straightening. I usually style it by using this product and twirling strands around my finger and letting it airdry naturally, but it takes long. so I was thinking of trying mousse. which is the best mousse that wont give a crunchy crispy look and that withstands against humidity. Or that will make my curls, in "pieces" think kate hudson? And gives soft manageable curls? also, i can i use a diffuser without getting frizzies?

I told this girl that I had feelings for her, and she was really happy and sed stuff like, i knew you did. But she never sed I like you too. I asked her to go to the movies with me and she sed yes. We went, she seemed to have a good time and gave me a hug and kiss on the cheek, but i really don't know where i stand now. Are we going out or not? Should i ask her. What should i do and where do you think i stand.

I'm looking for a hair cut that really suits me. I've been told with my round face shape that i should either keep it in a pony tail or get it cut really short. Is there anyone who has had a pixie cut and has a round face. (i have a small forehead and nose- FYI)

So..I get the great idea of letting my little sister cut my hair. It was okay because i'm getting my hair done but me not thinking about it I put it on a pony tail and let her cut the "tail" now it's really uneven and in the center it's about 3" long and really long on the sides! is that still okay to get it layered or do I have to completely cut it all?

i have naturally straight hair and yesterday i permed it for the first time. I've heard that combing permed hair will eventually make it straight again. How true is this ? How am i supposed to keep it tangle -free then? To those who are experience with maintaining curls, please help !!

i have beautiful blonde curly hair, just the problem is, it takes a lot of work and time... so i just decided to straighten it everyday... the ends of my hair split like crazy and i have a handfull of hair in my hand by the time im done straightening it. i use hot oil treatments, moisturizing masks for your hair, etc... but nothing seems to help...

i would leave my hair curly, but i dont have time to style it every morning before school, i would much rather just put it up, and leave the house...
do you have any inexpensive ways to keep my hair healthy?

How can I permanently remove hair from a benign flat mole on my face. Its cute, but it sprouts a few hairs that I pluck.
Id love to find a more permanent solution. Some doctors have told me laser hair removal, some say electrolysis, but some places wont do electrolysis on a mole. Has anyone has any experience with this?

Do you use a straightening iron? No matter what I do they always end up being straight with the next gust of wind.

I have several things that I need addressed... firstly, I just got a hair cut yesterday. I was extremely happy with it when I left the salon, but after I got home and played with it, I'm becoming increasingly frustrated. I am not at all good at styling. It's a short and choppy cut that I had hoped to be able to flip out in certain places, but so far no luck. Any ideas on styles to get me through the week? I plan to have it cut again next weekend but I'm worried. I'm heavier, but losing weight, and I would like a shorter do. I was thinking of either a short stacked style with sleek bangs, or something sleek in the front and spikey in the back. Any big girls wanna help a sister out with her decision?! I would be FOREVER grateful for anyones input, but please, refrain from any smart alec responses. Only people that are serious about helping me out!

I have waist length, straight, super thick hair and wispy bangs. Any suggestions on cute ways and how to fix it? All I ever do is all down or a ponytail.
