everyone gets bumps the first few times just shave it and keep it shaved don't let it get long and then the bumps will eventually go away...itchy crotch is a small price to pay for the extended pleasure you will get from having it bare down there...

The reason you get razor bumps is because your hairs are ingrown (like a lot of other people).. Try shaving in the direction the hair growns... It will not be super super smooth & will elave some small hairs, but it will look a lot better and is more hygienic... Also, it won't hurt like when you normally shave because you won't be pulling every hair out with the razor. Everyone's hair "down there" is coarse and usually pretty bushy if you let it grow out, but it is thought by most to me gross that way. I keep mine groomed just because if I don't, the hairs get all tangled together and it collects more lint that way. Good luck..

you know I've never heard of this problem before. I was sitting here ready to type a decent answer and I don't have a clue! It is pubic hair! Why would you want to soften it? Because frankly the more I think on it the more difficult it is to find an answer. I don't think you really can do anything about coarse pubic hair! sorry

Well you could use a conditioner. I reccomend if you would like to shave use valesine as your shaving cream. It really protects your skin and you wont get bumps. Also I heard stippers use astro glide or k-y jelly as shaving cream ( I heard it on The View) . Apparently it protects as well as vaseline. I get brazillians and they work GREAT ! But if you do not want to wax or shave like you said I would try deep conditioning b/c it's just hair

They're called pubic hairs. They're supposed to be coarse. If it really bothers you that much, use a conditioner on it. Yes, the kind you use on the hair on your head. It'll make a little bit of difference.

First off, it's normal for your pubic hair to be coarse. Most people's are. But if you really want to make it softer use what you'd use on your head...shampoo/conditioner.

I know that some products make things to make hair softer. I recommend you hit a cvs and check out the hair removal isle.

Just keep shaving and eventually the razor burn will stop. For the meantime use bikini zone gel and never use a dull blade.

Hair conditioner will soften the pubic hair.

Use the conditioner for a week to soften it, it will make shaving a lot easier.

Use conditioner and then you can shave it. The more you shave or wax the more that area is use to it and it wont itch after awhile.
